Listen when I correct you.
I will tell you what’s in my heart.
I will tell you what I am thinking.
For the Lord gives wisdom;
from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.
For wisdom will enter your heart,
and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul.
Honor the Lord with your possessions
and with the first produce of your entire harvest,
then your barns will be completely filled,
and your vats will overflow with new wine.
But the wicked walk in thick darkness,
like those who travel in fog,
and yet don’t have a clue why they keep stumbling!

"Jesus said, 'I am the Light of the world. He who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life '" (John 8:12 AMP). Give the order of your steps "to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy" (Jude 1:24 NKJV).
Glory to God!
He will die for lack of instruction (discipline),
And in the greatness of his foolishness, he will go astray and be lost.
MY MUSINGS
Lord, give me direction for my way
AND the discipline to follow it.
For truth is a bright beam of light
shining into every area of your life,
instructing and correcting you to discover the ways to godly living.
There he was in the twilight as darkness fell,
convinced no one was watching
as he entered the black shadows of hell.
MY MUSINGS
Do not deceive yourselves, "For [God's] eyes are on the ways of man, And He sees all his steps. There is no darkness nor shadow of death where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves!" (Job 34-21-22 NKJV)
"I will show my love to those who passionately love me. For they will search and search continually until they find me.
Unending wealth and glory come to those who discover where I dwell. The riches of righteousness and a long, satisfying life will be given to them.

"I will show my love to those who passionately love me. For they will search and search continually until they find me.
Unending wealth and glory come to those who discover where I dwell. The riches of righteousness and a long, satisfying life will be given to them.
Those who love me gain great wealth and a glorious inheritance, and I will fill their lives with treasures.
But those who stumble and miss me will be sorry they did! For ignoring what I have to say will bring harm to your own soul.
Those who hate me are simply flirting with death!”
Abandon your foolish ways and live!
Walk in the way of understanding.
A good person’s mouth is a clear fountain of wisdom;
a foul mouth is a stagnant swamp.
The speech of a good person clears the air;
the words of the wicked pollute it.

A good person’s mouth is a clear fountain of wisdom;
a foul mouth is a stagnant swamp.
The speech of a good person clears the air;
the words of the wicked pollute it.
MY MUSINGS-Same scripture, different version
The mouths of the righteous (those harmonious with God) bring forth skillful and godly Wisdom, but the perverse tongue shall be cut down [like a barren and rotten tree].
The lips of the [uncompromisingly] righteous know [and therefore utter] what is acceptable, but the mouth of the wicked knows [and therefore speaks only] what is obstinately willful and contrary (Proverbs 10:31-32 AMPC).
A kindhearted woman gains honor,
but ruthless men gain only wealth.
Those who are kind benefit themselves,
but the cruel bring ruin on themselves.
A passive person won’t even complete a project,
but a passionate person makes good use
of his time, wealth, and energy.
Righteousness is like a shield of protection,
guarding those who keep their integrity,
but sin is the downfall of the wicked.
When your heart overflows with understanding
you’ll be very slow to get angry.
But if you have a quick temper,
your impatience will be quickly seen by all.
A foolish person rejects his father’s correction.
But anyone who accepts correction is wise.
You can avoid evil through surrendered worship and the fear of God,
for the power of his faithful love
removes sin’s guilt and grip over you.
Let a man meet a [ferocious] bear robbed of her cubs
Rather than the [angry, narcissistic] fool in his folly.
A full strong tower is the name of the Lord;
a just [or rightwise] man runneth to him, and [he] shall be enhanced.
Go ahead-be lazy and passive.
But you'll go hungry if you live that way.
You may have an abundance of wealth,
piles of gold and jewels,
but there is something of far greater worth:
speaking revelation-words of knowledge.
The plans of the diligent lead surely to abundance and advantage,
But everyone who acts in haste comes surely to poverty.
The reward of humility [that is, having a realistic view of one’s importance] and the [reverent, worshipful] fear of the Lord
Is riches, honor, and life.
Embrace the truth and hold it close.
Don’t let go of wisdom, instruction, and life-giving understanding.
MY MUSINGS
"'Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. (John 14:6 NKJV)'"
Embrace Jesus. Hold on to the Truth.
Those enlightened with wisdom have spoken these proverbs:
Judgment must be impartial,
for it is always wrong to be swayed by a person’s status.
If you say to the guilty, “You are innocent,”
the nation will curse you and the people will revile you.
But when you convict the guilty,
the people will thank you and reward you with favor.
When you discover something sweet,
don’t overindulge and eat more than you need,
for excess in anything can make you sick of even a good thing.
It’s good to eat sweet things,
but you can take too much.
It’s good to be honored,
but to seek words of praise is not honor at all.
An undeserved curse will be powerless to harm you.
It may flutter over you like a bird,
but it will find no place to land.
When your soul is full, you turn down even the sweetest honey.
But when your soul is starving,
every bitter thing becomes sweet.
MY MUSINGS
"O taste and see that the LORD is good:
Blessed is the man that trusteth in him" (Psalm 34:8 KJV).
Guilty criminals experience paranoia
even though no one threatens them.
But the innocent lovers of God,
because of righteousness,
will have the boldness of a young, ferocious lion!
The source of strife is found in an angry heart,
for sin surrounds the life of a furious man.
Stirring milk makes butter.
Twisting noses makes them bleed.
And stirring up anger makes trouble.
She looks well to how things go in her household, and the bread of idleness (gossip, discontent, and self-pity) she will not eat.
But the one who always listens to me
will live undisturbed in a heavenly peace.
Free from fear, confident and courageous,
that one will rest unafraid and sheltered from the storms of life.
Follow those who follow wisdom and stay on the right path,
For all my godly lovers will enjoy life to the fullest
and will inherit their destinies.
My child, listen to your father’s teaching.
And do not forget your mother’s advice.
Their teaching will beautify your life.
It will be like flowers in your hair or a chain around your neck.
MY MUSINGS
There is such a beauty in being covered by Godly parents.
Just like flowers, wise instruction is a gift that, if accepted, will change your atmosphere, brighten your surroundings, and add a sweet fragrance to your life.
Just like flowers, wisdom received from parents who received wisdom from the Word of God is to be cherished, admired and displayed boldly.
Sadly, "the flower will fade," and fall away but you can rejoice for "the word of our God will stand forever!" (Isaiah 40:8) When you accept God's wise instructions with obedience, you, just like flowers, can produce a sweet fragrance, but yours can last for generations!
He becomes your personal bodyguard as you follow his ways,
protecting and guarding you as you choose what is right.
MY MUSINGS
There will always be people and situations that come into your life to threaten to harm you. The Word of God says, "the thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly." (John 10:10)
Knowing this, "what shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us?" (Romans 8:31) "Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?" (Psalm 27:1)
Fear not. Walk in righteousness. Follow His ways. Then, you can live in confidence when foolishness comes your way that you are protected because God is your bodyguard!
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths.
Then you will walk safely in your way, And your foot will not stumble.
When you lie down, you will not be afraid;
Yes, you will lie down and your sleep will be sweet.
MY MUSINGS
God has you.
He has you when you are walking around navigating this world.
He has you when you pull the covers up and go to sleep.
Think about how, while in the wilderness, "the LORD went before [the Israelities] by day in a pillar of cloud to lead the way, and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light" (Exo 13-21). They allowed God to guide them. God had them.
No need to start worrying about the day when you wake up , nor have restless sleep due to anxious thoughts at night. God has you.
Acknowledge Him. Seek His guidance at all times. As Proverbs 3:13 says, "Happy is a man who finds wisdom and who acquires understanding," when you truly and deeply understand who God is and what He does, you can have true and deep happiness. You can have the fullness of God, day and night.
God already has you!
The beginning of wisdom: Get wisdom! Get understanding before anything else.
MY MUSINGS
Start with the beginning.
If you want wisdom, you must take action to get wisdom. The first step is to decide do you want wisdom. Decide if you truly want God's wisdom or the world's. The world's wisdom is cheap. God's wisdom will cost you everything.
The second step is to move towards wisdom. Move towards the thing you should desire the most, to get to know God. Read His Word, study His Word, listen to His Word, and observe His works. You cannot get to know someone intimately if you do not talk to them. Talk to God. Pray to Him. Move towards the relationship that will reward you with everything.
Make the decision for wisdom.
Make the moves to get wisdom.
In the end, you will not only have Godly wisdom, but you will also know God!
Those who choose wickedness die for lack of self-control,
for their foolish ways lead them astray, carrying them away as hostages— kidnapped captives robbed of destiny.
MY MUSINGS
Do you remember those Choose Your Own Adventure Books?
If you have never read one, throughout the book you are the main character and get to choose what's happens in the story. For example, if you are a mountain climber, depending on what you choose from two or three options, you may climb Mt. Everest, or you may rescue someone from an avalanche, or you may fall to your death after a rock slips from under your foot on the side of a cliff. There are many twists and turns to experience. In some books, there are as many as 44 different endings.
Our lives can be described just as those Choose Your Own Adventure Books! God is the author of the book that is our lives. He has written every possible outcome for your individual life. He has put some really good options in there for us to enjoy. And there are some disappointing ones too. Read 2 Samuel 24:10-15, when God, through His prophet Gad, gave David three choices for how David's life would go after he sinned against God.
No matter the outcome, rest assured, that God has already written it. He has written your book for you. He knows what is the option best for you to choose. He knows "the thoughts and plans that He has for you,...thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome" (Jeremiah 29:11 AMPC). Get to know the Author and Finisher. As you get to know Him, you will understand why and know what to choose. Hopefully, you will choose His will, His ways, His path, and follow through to your destiny. Then, you will choose your best life!
A troublemaker and a villain,
who goes about with a corrupt mouth, who winks maliciously with his eye, signals with his feet
and motions with his fingers,
who plots evil with deceit in his heart— he always stirs up conflict.
MY MUSINGS
"When someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time."
-Maya Angelou
You’re the very one I’ve looked for,
the one I knew I wanted from the moment I saw you.
That’s why I’ve come out here tonight,
so I could meet a man just like you.
MY MUSINGS
In this scripture, Folly, the adulterous woman, the enemy, is out looking for someone to lead away from the truth. As Peter warns, "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour" (1 Peter 5:8 KJV). The easiest person to feast on is who thinks he can live for Christ in the light of day and live for the world in the dark of night like this young man believes he can do. "There he was in the twilight as darkness fell, convinced no one was watching as he entered the black shadows of hell" (Proverbs 7:9 TPT).
The Bible assures us that "For God sees everything you do and his eyes are wide open as he observes every single habit you have" (Proverbs 5:21)! You cannot hide anything from Him. Do not be like the naive Christian thinking that you can have the best of both worlds, without consequences that reflect your actions. You cannot live a duplicitous life. Seduced and fooled by the enemy that you can have it all, you get lulled away into a false security of a life well-lived. Do not be "swayed by her sophistication, enticed by her longing embrace. She led him down the wayward path right into sin and disgrace. Quickly he went astray, with no clue where he was truly headed" (Proverbs 7:21-22).
So instead of being enticed to the house of Folly which doorway leads to hell, be enlightened by the advice of Wisdom who says, "If you wait at [my] doorway, longing to hear a word for every day, joy will break forth within you as you listen for what I’ll say. For the fountain of life pours into you every time that you find me, and this is the secret of growing in the delight and the favor of the Lord" (Proverbs 8:34-35).
Beloved, do not be misled, there is no other way to live. "If you do what [Wisdom says] you will live well. Guard your life with [her] revelation-truth" (Proverbs 7:2)
My mouth chews and savors and relishes truth—
I can’t stand the taste of evil!
MY MUSINGS
We should be so full of the Bread of Life that anything that is not of God is detestable to our lips and bodies. We should purge it from our lives as soon as it is recognized to be not of God; be it counterfeit or simply evil. There is no sweeter taste than truth and nothing more bitter than wickedness and lies.
"Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!" (Psalms 34:8 NKJV). "Because of you, I know the path of life, as I taste the fullness of joy in your presence. At your right side I experience divine pleasures forevermore!" (Psalms 16:11 TPT)
Wisdom has built herself a palace
upon seven pillars to keep it secure.
MY MUSINGS
What are the seven pillars that keep the house of wisdom secure? What is the foundation of God's wisdom? The epistle of James 3:17 tells us that the seven pillars consist of a life lived characterized as:
first of all pure,
peace-loving,
considerate,
submissive,
full of mercy and good deeds,
impartial,
and sincere.
Consider your ways. Based on these building specs, how strong is your foundation for God's wisdom? Based on these character traits, how strong is your reputation for God's representation?
Some of our pillars may be a little shaky. Let's get to work building them up!
True enrichment comes from the blessing of the Lord,
with rest and contentment in knowing that it all comes from him.
MY MUSINGS
When we come to realize we do not actually possess anything in this entire world that is not owned by God, we will begin to understand God is our source and our provider. God made everything and everything is in fact His. We cannot make anything without His hand. "All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made" (John 1:3 NKJV).
So why do we worry? When we trust God is our ultimate source for everything, we can rest without anxiety. We do not have to have a fear of lack. We can be content in circumstances knowing God knows all, sees all and cares about all areas of our life. We can rest assured knowing that "every good action and every perfect gift is from God. These good gifts come down from the Creator of the sun, moon, and stars" (James 1:17 ICB). God owns it all, we just manage it from Him.
God's blessings make your life rich; nothing we can do can improve on God (Proverbs 10:22 MSG). Therefore, do not stress over this life. Live your absolute best life with what He has blessed you. The wealth of joy and peace will come to you.
When pride comes [boiling up with an arrogant attitude of self-importance],
then come dishonor and shame,
But with the humble [the teachable who have been chiseled by
trial and who have learned to walk humbly with God] there is wisdom and soundness of mind.
The diligent find freedom in their work;
the lazy are oppressed by work.
MY MUSINGS
According to Confucious, “Choose a job you love and you'll never have to work a day in your life.” That philosophy is wonderful to live by and has granted many people fulfilling and successful lives. For those whose path has not traveled to such blessing yet, the Bible says, "Whatever you do [whatever your task may be], work from the soul [that is, put in your very best effort], as [something done] for the Lord and not for men" (Colossians 3:23).
The freedom and satisfaction come when we know we are operating with than attitude of pleasing and honoring God in the work and activities we do. And this applies even if we were allowed to choose the work or not. Having an attitude of defiance, entitlement, or laziness will only lead to a life of bondage. Be free as God has made us free to serve Him, not ourselves and not the world; to serve the Lord our God with all our hearts and with all our souls and all our bodies (Romans 6:22, Deut 10:12).
The Bible goes on to say, "know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving"(Colossians 3:24).
So it can be said, "Choose Jesus Christ as the boss you love, and you will love to do His work all the days of your life!"
The self-assurance of the rich is their money,
but people don’t kidnap and extort the poor!
MY MUSINGS
If you consider yourself poor, do not envy those you consider rich. Having earthly possessions is not what makes you rich in the kingdom of God (Proverbs 10:22).
As Proverbs warns, being rich in things can cause their own problems, such as being kidnapped, threatened, robbed, sued, hated on, and surrounded by fake friends (Proverbs 13:8, 19:4).
No one is immune to trials and tribulation in this world, Jesus promises us (John 16:33). Those who rely on their money for an abundant life will be greatly disappointed. For only the love of Christ and living for Him will reward you with an unmeasurable treasure on earth and in heaven (Luke 12:21, 34; Hebrews 11:8, 26).
Things cannot save you. "A life devoted to things is a dead life, a stump; a God-shaped life is a flourishing tree" (Proverbs 11:28).
Wealth cannot save you. "When judgment day comes, all the wealth of the world won’t help you one bit. So be rich in righteousness, for that’s the only thing that can save you in death" (Proverbs 11:4).
"The salvation of the soul is a man's true wealth." Put your assurance in the one who makes us all rich, Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior!
The wise woman builds her home.
But the silly woman destroys her home with her own hands.
MY MUSINGS
"You, Beloved, carefully build yourselves up in this most holy faith by praying in the Holy Spirit, staying right at the center of God’s love, keeping your arms open and outstretched, ready for the mercy of our Master, Jesus Christ. This is the unending life, the real life!" (Jude 20)
It’s much better to live simply,
surrounded in holy awe and worship of God,
than to have great wealth with a home full of trouble.
It’s much better to have a meal of vegetables surrounded with love and grace than a steak where there is hate.
He who heeds the word wisely will find good,
And whoever trusts in the Lord, happy is he.
In the same way that gold and silver are refined by fire,
the Lord purifies your heart by the tests and trials of life.
A fool has a big mouth that only gets him into trouble,
and he’ll pay the price for what he says.
It is easier to conquer a strong city than to win back a friend whom you’ve offended.
Their walls go up, making it nearly impossible to win them back.
MY MUSINGS
Guard your tongue. It can make you a friend or a fool.
It’s better to be honest, even if it leads to poverty,
than to live as a dishonest fool.
Judgment is waiting for those who mock the truth,
and foolish living invites a beating.
MY MUSINGS
"Do not stop me from speaking your true word!
I know that you will do what is right.
I will always obey your Law,
now and for ever.
I will not be in danger as I live,
because I try to obey your teaching.
I will speak to kings about your rules.
I will not be ashamed to do that.
I love your commands
and they make me very happy.
I respect your commands,
and I love them.
I am always thinking about your laws" (Psalms 119:43-48).
Speak the truth.
Share the truth.
Live the truth.
Think carefully before you promise to give something to God.
Later, you might wish you had not made that promise.
MY MUSINGS
It is of great importance to consider what vow, or promise, you make before the Lord. He is expecting you to fulfill that promise. The Bible declares, "If a man makes a special promise to the Lord or makes a promise with an oath, he must not break his promise. He must do everything he said he would do" (Numbers 30:2) "When you make a promise to the Lord your God, don’t be slow to pay everything you promised. The Lord your God will demand that you pay it. You will sin if you don’t pay what you promised. But you must do what you say you will do. If you choose to make a promise to the Lord your God, you must do what you promised" (Deuteronomy 23:21-23).
To say to yourself, "well, God knows my heart," "He can't really expect me to do that," or "God will understand," you are only deceiving yourself and sinning against God. "So don’t let your words cause you to sin. Don’t say to Him, “I didn’t mean what I said.” If you do this, God might become angry with your words and destroy everything you have worked for. You should not let your useless dreams and bragging bring you trouble. You should respect God" (Ecclesiastes 5:6-7). After you have realized you have made a rash promise to God, pray to Him for help, and He will hear you and help you (Job 22:27).
If you promised to do or give something to God, even if said in desperation, do or give it to Him, knowing that God keeps His promises to you!
There is no wisdom, no insight, no plan
that can succeed against the Lord.
MY MUSINGS
Our God is AWE-some!
Dedicate your children to God and point them in the way that they should go,
and the values they’ve learned from you will be with them for life.
I walked past a field that belonged to a lazy man. It was a vineyard that belonged to someone who understood nothing. Weeds were growing everywhere! Wild vines covered the ground, and the wall around the vineyard was broken and falling down. I looked at this and thought about it. This is what I learned: a little sleep, a little rest, folding your arms, and taking a nap— these things will make you poor very quickly. Soon you will have nothing, as if a thief broke in and took everything away.
MY MUSINGS
"Professional work habits prevent poverty from becoming your permanent business partner. And: If you put off until tomorrow the work you could do today, tomorrow never seems to come" (Proverbs 24:33-34).
Remove the worthless things from silver to make it pure, and a worker can make something beautiful.
Take the evil advisors away from a king, and goodness will make his kingdom strong.
MY MUSINGS
"God, create a pure heart in me, and make my spirit strong again" (Psalms 51:10).
Do not answer [nor pretend to agree with the frivolous comments of] a [closed-minded] fool according to his folly,
Otherwise you, even you, will be like him.
Answer [and correct the erroneous concepts of] a fool according to his folly, Otherwise he will be wise in his own eyes [if he thinks you agree with him].
If you wake your friend in the early
morning by shouting
“Rise and shine!”
It will sound to him
more like a curse than a blessing.
MY MUSINGS
"If you’re [naive] enough to call attention to yourself by offending people and making rude gestures, Don’t be surprised if someone bloodies your nose. Churned milk turns into butter; riled emotions turn into fist fights" (Proverbs 30:32).
"Treat others the same way you want them to treat you" (Luke 6:31).
God has no use for the prayers of the people who won’t listen to him.
MY MUSINGS
You may read The Bible every day. You may go to church every Sunday. You may pray without ceasing. You say you love God. But sad to say, if you refuse to obey God's instructions, your prayers are detestable to Him and He refuses to hear them (Proverbs 28:9). God's Holy Word says, "if you love me, show it by doing what I've told you" (John 14:15).
"Don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves" (James 1:22). But know this, you are not fooling God! The Bible warns us in Proverbs 28:9, 15:8, and 15:29, that the prayers of those who do not obey God are an abomination, detestable, and despised. And know this, God does not change. Just as He said to the Israelites in the time of Zechariah, "Since they refused to listen when I called to them, I would not listen when they called to me" (Zechariah 7:13). The same is true today. God is a God of reciprocity, if you listen to and obey Him, He will listen to and bless you (Job 36:11, Revelation 1:3, Deuteronomy 6:3).
In Luke 6:46-49, Jesus clarifies to those who claim to follow Him, “What good does it do for you to say I am your Lord and Master if you don’t put into practice what I teach you? Let me describe the one who truly follows me and does what I say: He is like a man who chooses the right place to build a house and then lays a deep and secure foundation. When the storms and floods rage against that house, it continues to stand strong and unshaken through the tempest, for he built it wisely on the right foundation. But the one who has heard my teaching and does not obey it is like a man who builds a house without laying any foundation at all. When the storms and floods rage against that house, it will immediately collapse and become a total loss. Which of these two builders will you be?"
Be a builder who builds from the instructions of the Word, then when you pray, God will use your prayers to build you a life "exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think," blessings that are "pressed down, shaken together, and running over!" (Ephesians 3:20, Luke 6:38)
These proverbs will give you great skill to teach the immature and make them wise, to give youth the understanding of their design and destiny.
For the wise, these proverbs will make you even wiser, and for those with discernment, you will be able to acquire brilliant strategies for leadership.
MY MUSINGS
Read. Pray. Listen.
Get wisdom.
Get to know yourself and your God. Reading the Bible for yourself may be the missing piece of living your best life for God.
Lay aside your simple thoughts and leave your paths behind.
Agree with my ways, live in my truth,
and you will find righteousness.”
MY MUSINGS
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord (Isaiah 55:8). "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths" (Proverbs 5-6).
When we are weary, feeling lost and confused or defeated, we must stop, examine the path we are on, determine if it is our way or God's way, be truthful about it, and then start again with God as our lead. If we fail to do these steps, we may let Foolishness lead us straight to a living hell (Proverbs 9:15, 18).
Those who turn from the truth get what they deserve,
but a good person receives a sweet reward.
The heart of the wise teacheth his mouth, And addeth learning to his lips.
When the scorner is punished, the simple is made wise:And when the wise is instructed, he receiveth knowledge.
MY MUSINGS
You can learn the hard way or the easy way! Let wisdom be your teacher.
"But whoever listens to me (Wisdom) will live securely and in confident trust
And will be at ease, without fear or dread of evil.”
He stores away sound wisdom for the righteous [those who are in right standing with Him];
He is a shield to those who walk in integrity [those of honorable character and moral courage],
Let your eyes look directly ahead [toward the path of moral courage]
And let your gaze be fixed straight in front of you [toward the path of integrity].
For the ways of man are directly before the eyes of the Lord,
And He carefully watches all of his paths [all of his comings and goings].
A worthless person, a wicked man,
Is one who walks with a perverse (corrupt, vulgar) mouth.
With much justifying and enticing argument she persuades him,
with the allurements of her lips she leads him [to overcome his conscience and his fears] and forces him along.
No [actual] evil, misfortune, or calamity shall come upon the righteous,
but the wicked shall be filled with evil, misfortune, and calamity.
MY MUSINGS
"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose" Romans 8:28 KJV.
"Yet amid all these things we are more than conquerors and gain a surpassing victory through Him Who loved us. For I am persuaded beyond doubt (am sure) that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities, nor things impending and threatening nor things to come, nor powers, Nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord" Romans 8:37 AMPC.
Roll your works upon the Lord [commit and trust them wholly to Him;
He will cause your thoughts to become agreeable to His will, and] so shall your plans be established and succeed.
MY MUSINGS
When you live for God,
When you trust God,
When you are in agreement with God, You cannot fail.
The wise also will hear and increase in learning, and the person of understanding will acquire skill and attain to sound counsel [so that he may be able to steer his course rightly].
MY MUSINGS
What moves you sail?
What influences the way that you direct your life from day to day?
Who's words are you using to guide your course?
"Everything that is written in the Bible comes from God's Spirit. It helps us in many ways. The Bible teaches us what is true. It warns us when we are doing wrong things. It shows us what is right. It teaches us how to live good lives. As a result, people who want to serve God can know how to live properly. They will be people who can do all kinds of good things" (II Timothy 3:16-17).
When you need help navigating your life, grab your bible,
it will help steer you right!
It is the Lord who says wise words. He helps us to understand the things that are too difficult for us. He helps us to know what we need to know.
MY MUSINGS
For the Lord gives skillful and godly Wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding (Proverbs 2:6). Every Scripture is God-breathed (given by His inspiration) and profitable for instruction, for reproof and conviction of sin, for correction of error and discipline in obedience, [and] for training in righteousness (in holy living, in conformity to God's will in thought, purpose, and action), So that the man of God may be complete and proficient, well fitted and thoroughly equipped for every good work (II Timothy 3:16-17).
