Be the Bible means to live a life reflecting Jesus, the living Word. Be the Bible is reading the manual on life and following the instructions provided. Be the Bible is reading the script and reenacting the main character. The Bible is the ultimate transformative script to perform on life's stage for an audience of the One, God our Father.
Webster's dictionary would define "be" "the" "bible" as: to express purpose by representing the whole to the sacred book which contains the principles of Christian faith and rules of practice.
Be the Bible is the desire to be humble, yet purposeful, representatives of the characteristics of God. We live our lives with the intention of displaying the attributes of Jesus. Jesus is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. We can be those things also.
Be the Bible is achieved when we, as the Apostle Paul's implores in 1 Corinthians 10:3 2-33, 11:1 NCV, "Never do anything that might hurt others-Jews, Greeks, or God's church_ The answer is, if you eat or drink, or if you do anything, do it all for the glory of God. Just as I , also try to please everybody in every way. I am not trying to do what is good for me but what is good for most people so they can be saved. Be imitators of me, as I am of Christ."
Be the Bible is transformation by the Holy Spirit. "We can all draw close to him with the veil removed from our faces. And with no veil we all become like mirrors who brightly reflect the glory of the Lord Jesus. We are being transfigured into his very image as we move from one brighter level of glory to another. And this glorious transfiguration comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit." (II Corin 3:18 TPT)
Be the Bible is a change in thinking and behavior. "Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God's will for your life, which is good and pleasing and perfect." (Romans 12:2 NLT)
